Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Baxter and I am a very nice, red n white, 3 1/2 year old cocker boy. I came to rescue from a high kill shelter in SC. It was the last day that they could keep me. I didn't get adopted because I had a few skin issues.
I am heartworm negative, neutered, updated on shots and I've had a dental. I am people friendly, dog friendly and I will be a great best friend and companion to add to your family. I did really well when I was sent to the groomer, but I do have a hard time with any kind of vet care with my ears and feet. Except for that, I am nice as can be and I keep a clean crate. I seem to be a real friendly guy, as everyone who meets me thinks that I am one nice cocker boy. I will do best in a home with children 8 and older. I had some skin/coat issues that needed attention, and I am on an allergy free type dog food that can be purchased at most vet offices. So far, my vet is very pleased with my skin and coat. I am also on Revolution to keep me from getting heartworms, so I will do best to be adopted to someone who is willing to keep me on this food diet and heartworm prevention in order to keep me healthy. I would love to have my 2nd chance and someone to love me for the special guy that I am. Maybe I could be your new best buddy and a favorite companion. . . . I would love to meet you!
