Kiniki's Story...

When we first began fostering Kiniki, she was a timid, scared kitten, very wary of people. She was a little fluff ball, no bigger than the palm of your hand and she used to hiss and growl anytime you came near her. Kiniki came from a feral colony and had been caught in a live trap when she was very small. It took a lot of time but eventually, through a lot of patience and treats, Kiniki began to let down her guard. She has turned into an extremely affectionate cat with a vivid personality. Even though she still does enjoy spending time alone on the bed, every evening she bursts into her playful mood and wants to rub her head against yours and give you the occasional love bite.

Kiniki is very bonded to her brother Sonny and they MUST be adopted together. Kiniki will do best in a home with no small children or dogs. She will be greatly missed in our lives but will be a fulfilling addition to yours.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kiniki, a Vancouver Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
