Shiloh's Story...
Shiloh is a sweet boy. He is a 1 1/2 years old Black Lab mix. He was abused all his life and wasn't allowed in the house. Shiloh lived outside on a chain where he only had a piece of plywood for shelter. His neighbor was nice enough to save him and let him know what it felt like to be loved. She had been training him to be indoors and he is doing very well. Shiloh is playful and does not have any behavioral issues. He likes to play with other dogs outside and is good with kids, cats and all people. He is working on his manners and his leash walking skills and will make a great boys dog! Shiloh also loves to play with toys and will be happy to do anything you want. He also would make a good Frisbee dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shiloh, a Puyallup Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Puyallup, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Puyallup.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Puyallup already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Puyallup breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Puyallup paves the way for another one to be saved.
