Lady's Story...
Hello there, my name is Lady! Quite fitting, too, since I'm so beautiful and lovely! I was found as a stray in March, 2013 near DuPont, WI. My owners were eventually found, but they said that I would be better off staying with Happily Ever After and finding a forever home that would love as much as I deserved to be loved! My estimated birthdate is 2004. I have an award-winning sweet and gentle disposition, and my number one favorite thing to do is snuggle with people! I have a special "hug" for every person that I meet! I also love going for car rides, and am intrigued by windshield wipers! If you have a spare lap in your house with my name on it (and no kitties!), I would love it if you would consider giving me a warm and safe forever home! Love, Lady **Lady is eagerly awaiting visitors at HEA's Green Bay Adoption Center, located at 2065 Holmgren Way, on weeknights from 6-8 pm, and weekends from 11 am-4 pm!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lady, a Green Bay Akita dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Akita for sale in Green Bay, or seeking a Akita dog from a breeder in Green Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Green Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Green Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Akita breeders who help with Akita rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Green Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
