Ruff Ruff! My name is Tucker
|Breed:||Labrador Retriever Mix||Color:||Tan/Yellow/Fawn||Age:||Adult|

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
Tucker is a 2-3 year old, handsome and happy gentleman. He is eager to please his people and his obedience is very solid on and off leash. He loves playing with the other dogs in his foster home. Tucker loves going on long walks or runs and will be a wonderful hiking and camping companion. Because he is large and very strong, he does need an experienced handler. But Tucker's foster mom says he's the kind of dog that you walk down the street thinking, "I know everyone wishes their dog was as handsome as mine!" He also loves cats.
Tucker got a little anxious waiting to be rescued from the local kill shelter, so he doesn't like being abandoned for long periods of time. He would be best with someone who works from home some or could take him to work or someone who is gone for shorter periods of time during the day, rather than 8 hour days. He's improved a lot, but does love to be with his people. He's like a big teddy bear and will let you just lie on the sofa with your head on him. To meet Tucker, please complete an online Adoption Application at www.outpawsrescue.com.

Rescue Group Info...
Founded in 2013 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Denver, Colorado, OutPaws grew out of a dream to create an animal rescue organization that reflects Denver and Colorado’s young and vibrant ethos and that lives by the creed that there is no such thing as a bad dog or cat.
We believe that our pets rescue us as much as we rescue them, no matter if they are homeless or shelter animals that have been deemed “unadoptable.” We pride ourselves on being champions of the “underdogs,” and we know that with a little patience and love, mixed with proper care and training, these animals can make wonderful, loving companions. Whether placing pets in foster homes or forever homes, our role as “matchmaker” is one we take seriously. We hope to reach those who are lifelong pet owners as well as those who are looking for their first rescue with the goal of creating and nurturing bonds that last a lifetime.
Because our animals are all in foster homes, meetings are scheduled individually. We also bring our dogs to many local adoption events.
The adoption process begins when you complete an online Adoption Application at www.outpawsrescue.com, naming either one or a few of our Available Animals or providing a description of the type of animal you hope to adopt. Because we are an all-volunteer organization, we do not have time to respond to general inquiries about animals. Completing an application does not restrict you to a specific animal, nor does it obligate you to adopt.
Once we have received your application and determined that you are a good match for the requested animal, we will contact you by email. The foster parent will then contact you to arrange a time for you to meet the animal, at which time you can decide if you would like to complete the adoption.
Once the adoption is approved, you will need to complete our online Adoption Contract and pay the non-refundable adoption fee. This non-tax-deductible fee assists us in continuing to save more homeless pets and may be refunded only if the animal is returned within 14 days due to a health consideration.
All of our animals are spayed/neutered and up-to-date on distemper, parvo, parainfluenza and adenovirus, as well as rabies if they are over 6 months of age.
Dogs under 1 year of age: $250
Dogs over 1 year of age: $200
Adult cats: $75
