Xena's Story...
My name is Xena. I came to 4PAR with my 4 siblings. When I first got here I was really shy, but I am learning that people are fun to hang out with. I am about 17 weeks old, and am an Aussie/Lab mix? I love to play ball and play with my foster siblings, I like to hang out with my foster mom. I am getting good at traveling in the car, and going for walks. I know how to lay down and sit on command too. I am crate trained and am learning how to use a doggie door. I am looking for a new home to call my own. If you think we would make a good match, please call 480-528-3840

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Xena, a Scottsdale Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
