KoKo's Story...
KoKo is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. She and her sisters, 5 month old Lab/Hound mixes, were abandoned in a rural area where their poor mother was shot. They would not have survived but for some wonderful people who cared - and took them in. Her foster mom wrote:
Cho'ko'late "Koko" - With Spanish accent we call her Coco because she reminds us of a rich chocolate coffee drink because of her golden/brown undertones. She is very intelligent, learns quickly, looks with intent to serve and is eager to obey. Koko is friendly, absolutely loves children and has been good with other animals (cat, dog). She likes to be leader of the pack, yet does not insist on being top dog with proper direction. She is athletic, energetic and thrives on exercise. Koko is affectionate and loves to quietly lay by your side or make herself available for loving tummy pats. She has a sound easygoing temperament. This responsive and lovable puppy would make a exceptional close companion and/or family working (farm) dog.

There you have it! KoKo is vaccinated, spayed, being crate and house trained. What more could you ask for in a wonderful, beautiful family pet?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

KoKo, a Neosho Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Neosho, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Neosho.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Neosho already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Neosho breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Neosho paves the way for another one to be saved.
