Bali's Story...
Bali is 12, which I often question because of her spunk! She is a female Cornish Rex...looking for her purrfect home.

Went to Chase Animal Hospital in February, full check over and perfect bill of health.

Very vocal, playful, affectionate with people, cuddles at night even though it took her some time to work up to that (trust issues most likely), eats great, no problems with the litter box, loves drinking from running water at bathroom sink, enjoys being outside with a harness and leash (which I will include).

I've not seen her with dogs so I don't know how that would work. She simply does not get along with other cats. Not even Phoebe (feline sibling) who is the queen of sweet and has tried everything to be her friend. She will pick fights with all of them except Castor cause he stood up to her.

We got her in January 2013 and have tried everything possible! I don't know much about her past other than she can't have topical flea medication because her skin is sensitive. We trim her claws every 2 weeks, just the front and she's perfectly fine with it. She has never clawed the furniture because we have scratching posts for her which she loves. She never scratched or tried to bite us or anyone else.

That's about it, she's pretty much a normal cat, haha! She's on a holistic diet and I will provide who gets her with dry and wet food that way if they choose to keep her on it they can or they can use it to mix with while they switch her brand. I will say she handles the diet very well, her whiskers have grown longer, her eyes are more clear and her coat is fantastic now.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bali, a Capshaw Cornish Rex cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cornish Rex for sale in Capshaw, or seeking a Cornish Rex cat from a breeder in Capshaw.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Capshaw already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Capshaw breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cornish Rex breeders who help with Cornish Rex rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Capshaw paves the way for another one to be saved.
