Clyde's Story...
This is Clyde. He was born approximately December of 2012. He stands about 17 inches from the ground to the top of his shoulders and weighs about 20lbs. He has had his first set of shots and deworming. Clyde is a very calm and affectionate dog, he has one eat that is always flopped over while the other one stands straight which makes him super adorable. Clyde is still new to his leash but is very easy going and seems to really love his walks. He likes playing with his sister in the yard. Clyde enjoys playing with his toys as well but seems just as happy to sit beside you. He is good with other dogs and cats. Clyde would do well in a patient home that can continue to teach him lots of new things and walk him everyday.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clyde, a Saskatoon Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Retriever (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Saskatoon, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Retriever (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Saskatoon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saskatoon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saskatoon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saskatoon paves the way for another one to be saved.
