This little sweetie is Precious, a Tortie with a beautiful split face. She seems very delicate because she's tiny at under 6lbs, but she's actually very curious, brave and playful. She doesn't like to be held, but is otherwise quite affectionate, especially in the morning, when she will also verbalize her love for you.
Precious was rescued along with her kittens from under a ramp at a dentists office. She was very skinny, but loyally protecting her babies. All of the kittens have found good homes and now it's mommy's turn.
Precious is a very good girl with her biggest annoyance being her tendency to run out the door since she was used to being outdoors prior to her rescue. She stays close to home, but definitely needs a safe area around the home free of loose dogs. She Always comes inside at dark automatically knowing her curfew. A kitty door would make her very happy. Because her foster home has been child free, she shouldn't be placed in a home with smaller children, but others who won't try to pick her up against her will would be fine. She's very used to curious, non-aggressive dogs and tho she doesn't play with them, she tolerates them quite well.
Born around August 2012, Precious has been spayed, vaccinated and as with all of our cats, is FIV and FeLV negative.
