PENNY's Story...
Family is breaking up... and these two sweet girls need a new home. Please contact us ASAP if you are interested in adopting, or fostering these beautiful girls. Time is of the essence, as their owners are about to dump them!! NO -- YOU'RE RIGHT! These are NOT cocker spaniels, but a friend has asked for our help in re-homing Princess (8 yr old, chocolate lab) and Penny (5 yr old black lab). They are a mother and daughter team who need a new home TOGETHER. They are both spayed and up to date on their shots. They are both overweight due to a lack of exercise... both are very eager to please. Both have also been outside in a kennel their whole lives... would like to find a good home where they could be inside and out with their new family..... They DESERVE IT!! This is a list of MUST HAVES: Secured Fenced yard, Lots of exercise, Indoor/outdoor.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PENNY, a Tacoma Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Tacoma, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Tacoma.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tacoma already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tacoma breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tacoma paves the way for another one to be saved.
