Rusty Red's Story...
I am a beautiful 4 year old male retriever/chow mix weighing 55 pounds. Great with children, dogs and cats. Very timid in city with noise so would be best in house with yard.I get scared when walked outside and just want to do my business and go back home. But in the house i am a great watch dog and would great for someones parents to watch over them, or someone who lives quietly, but still give them undivided attention and love and I am very loyal to my owner.. Housetrained. Neutered with all my shots. please call Linda at 917 319 4304 to meet me

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rusty Red, a Long Beach Retriever (Unknown Type)/Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Chow Chow for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type)/Chow Chow breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type)/Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
