Hop along Cassidy's Story...
Hello there! My name is HOPALONG CASSIDY and I am a 9 year young Domestic Short Hair cat. Although I only have 3 legs due to a previous injury that required amputation, I can still run, jump and climb with the best! My favorite things to do is make muffins/biscuits, give kisses and purr. I'm a lovable boy looking for a loving, INSIDE ONLY forever home. Could it be you?

I am up to date on my vaccinations, neutered, wormed and microchipped.

My adoption fee is $75.00. Please direct any questions to homewardbound1818@yahoo.com and we will be happy to assist you. If you are interested in me, please visit our website, www.hbky.org to download an adoption application. Once completed, you can e-mail it to homewardbound1818@yahoo.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hop along Cassidy, a Lexington Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lexington, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Lexington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lexington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lexington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lexington paves the way for another one to be saved.
