Lily's Story...
If you are interested in viewing or adopting this kitty, please go to Click Here and fill out an application.

This is Lily, a petite calico who is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. This little girl warms up to you very quickly and craves your love and attention full time. She is a happy little cat who doesn’t walk when she enters a room…she prances like a little pony, down the hall ahead of you as you head towards the bathroom. She loves to rub against you as she weaves in and around your legs and runs to the door to greet you when you come home. She likes to be picked up for a snuggle and a kiss and of course loves to be petted. Lily will sit on your lap while you pet her, and she is so happy that you can hear her purr from across the room.

Lily has a grace and princess-like appeal, but if you are more inclined, she’s like a little teddy bear, so very soft you just want to squeeze her to bits. Lily is easy to train and responds well to discipline. She also loves the company of other cats and is very quiet should you ever have to leave her in a room alone. She enjoys sitting on those cat tree tiered things that you can get at the pet shop or simply on the window ledge where she will spend hours just watching what’s going on outside. She’s good at using the scratching post and her litter box. Lily is very healthy and loves to eat First Mate canned food.

Lily has been a pure delight to have in my home, and it will be very hard to have to let her go. But my job is done here and she is now ready to move on to her own forever home. She has all the qualities and characteristics that many people look for in a pet. This cat is just so adorable. You just have to look at her and she starts to purr. Can't overstate how affectionate and sociable she is. Anybody who gets this cat is going to be very happy. You’ll want to move quickly on this little girl as she is going to go very quickly.

Kindly note that Lily must be adopted to a home with another friendly kitty.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lily, a Vancouver Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
