Louis's Story...
Louis has so much love to offer. He is a gentle soul, who will happily settle in your lap, even if he's just met you! Sadly, this handsome tuxedo's owner passed away and when it came time to clean out the person's apartment, Louis was thrown out with the trash. He stayed in a back hallway of the building for 5 days, scared and confused, eating food offered by residents who passed by. Louis is named for the young man who took action and alerted Infinite Hope, caring for the kitty until we could get there. Louis has now been neutered, vaccinated, tested for FIV/FeLV and given a clean bill of health. He is about 1 year old. Please help get this sweet cat back into a home, where he belongs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Louis, a Brooklyn Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
