Mrs. Howl's Story...
My name is Mrs Howl. I am a three year old Bichon. I was rescued from a very bad puppy mill. My feet were so splayed from standing on wire that when I was finally off the wire my paw pads bled for over two weeks. I am scared of new things but I am making progress each day. I am beautiful and scared. Go to www.atailtotell.com to fill out an adoption application for me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mrs. Howl, a Mount Gretna Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise for sale in Mount Gretna, or seeking a Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in Mount Gretna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mount Gretna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mount Gretna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise breeders who help with Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mount Gretna paves the way for another one to be saved.
