Alice's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Alice's Story...
I'm a very sweet gal who just came down on my luck and found myself in the big house for no reason of my own, I had 3 babies with me (who have all found homes). I was so happy to see the nice people at BHRA come along and help me out. I am house broken, and I just love my cuddle time with my foster mommy. There are a couple of other doggies here and we get along just fine, I don't mind the cats either. Well enough about me I really want to know more about you and if you'll open your home for me to come and cuddle.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alice, a Birmingham Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound for sale in Birmingham, or seeking a Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Birmingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Birmingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Birmingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound breeders who help with Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Birmingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
