Penny's Story...
Hi! My name is Penny and I'm looking for my forever home! My vet thinks I'm around 2 years old, and you can tell by looking at me I've already had puppies. I was rescued from a shelter and am now in a foster home. I live with two bulldog brothers who I get along very well with; we play with toys, go outside on walks, and sit patiently for turkey treats in the morning.

I am a very loving, sweet and gentle girl. All I want to do is be next to my people; I love to give hugs and kisses all the time! My foster mom cannot believe no one came to get me while I was at the shelter because I'm such a nice girl. I love going to the pet store and for rides in the car

I was recently tested with cats and was not aggressive towards them, but was very curious. My vet thought I looked very concerned when I got close to the cat at first, so it is hard to tell if I really like them or not.

I hope you'll consider meeting me and making me part of your family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Penny, a Mansfield American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Mansfield, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Mansfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mansfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mansfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mansfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
