Hercules's Story...
Hi! My name is Hercules and I am looking for my forever home! I am a young boy, only a year old, and have not had the best life so far. I was abandoned by my "owner" and ended up at a shelter for a few months. The ladies there loved me so much and said I was a great guy. I'm now in a foster home so I have a lot of room to run around and play with my toys. I get along with other dogs and I still need to be tested around cats to see if I like them. I love going for walks and still need some work on my leash but my foster mom is helping me with that.

One thing you should know about me is that I am deaf. Please do not let that scare you away, it just means I'll need you to be patient with me and help me with my hand signals. I am very good at learning though, especially if you have a treat for me. I know how to sit, stay and I know the signal if you want me to come to you.

I hope you'll consider opening up your home to me and making me part of your family. I promise to be the best dog for you and will love you forever.

Hercules, a Mansfield American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Mansfield, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Mansfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mansfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mansfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mansfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
