My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chip is a male 7 year old Chihuahua. He is only about 5 pounds maybe a little less. He was sitting in a kennel at a bird swap with a sign that read 'Chihuahua 7 years old FREE". After telling the people that I would take him, find him a wonderful home and have him neutered, (which they didn't care about), a woman a small boy about 2-3 years old came along and said that they were just coming to get him. But I got there first, thank heavens. The boy's mom wanted the little dog so that he would not be able to pull the boy down when he walked him around the house and because Chip has few teeth, he couldn't bite the boy either, it would have been perfect for him. GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!!!! I was so glad that I came along when I did. Chip's little tongue sticks out because he has a few teeth missing. He loves to play, is very people oriented and has no aggressive tendencies. Chip does not mind wearing a hat, as you can see. He's not perfectly housetrained but does ok if taken out every 2 to 4 hours. So now Chip needs his forever home to be cuddled and not drug around by a small child. Are you that forever home for Chip?

The adoption fee for Chip is $200. Each of our dogs is up to date on all shots, including rabies, spayed or neutered, microchipped, fecal tested for internal parasites, treated if necessary, tested for heartworm, treated if necessary, on heartworm preventative and we also take care of dentals or any other medical needs they may have. With your dog, you will receive a health booklet detailing everything that we have done to be sure that they are in the best of health and all spiffed up to be your treasured pet.
