Coady - ADOPTED MAY 2013's Story...
Meet Coady! He is a 90-lb, housetrained, healthy 15-month-old German Shepherd / Husky cross with short hair who is up-to-date on vaccines and will be neutered before being adopted. Coady lives with and is GREAT with kids and cats and dogs! Like many GSDs, he is protective of his family home with strangers, but generally a friendly boy. Coady is described as a social butterfly and a great companion with a medium-to-high activity level. Coady loves playing outside with his family and has good recall. He enjoys his walks and loves chewing on a nice raw marrow bone and enjoys veggies and meat mixed in with his kibble. He is not a big barker - one woof at the door to come inside after a potty break - he is very smart! This boy loves to play! Pull toys, rope toys, balls that squeak, frisbees - he will keep you laughing! After a nice play session, Coady likes to curl up on his favourite blanket. Coady is a little needy and needs a good leader to help him feel safe. His current family has had him since puppyhood, but a health condition has forced them to find a new home for him. Coady would love it if his new family had a big yard, some time to continue his training, and lots of love to give! He will certainly return it tenfold.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Coady - ADOPTED MAY 2013, a Emsdale (Huntsville) German Shepherd Dog/Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Husky for sale in Emsdale (Huntsville), or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Husky dog from a breeder in Emsdale (Huntsville).

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Emsdale (Huntsville) already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Emsdale (Huntsville) breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Husky breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Emsdale (Huntsville) paves the way for another one to be saved.
