My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Emily is just a love bug from the word go. She has an amazingly beautiful chestnut coat, very expressive large eyes and a tail that never stops wagging when people are around.. This sweet girl came from a shelter where she was placed after being found with a very large wound on the side of her face from an unknown source. She is perfectly healed and has been enjoying the good life in her foster home for weeks now but is ready for her forever family. Her foster family thinks she is amazing and, in fact, say she is the best foster dog they've ever had!!!

Emily is a two year old female girl who we believe is a Golden Retriever mix or possibly a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. . She has a sweet personality and loves, loves, loves people. Emily is excellent in the house-has wonderful manners-no counter surfing, jumping on furniture or chewing-and rides really well in the car. She is current on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, spayed, wormed and ready for her new home. Her forever family should be a single person, couple or family with older children. Emily does not care for other pets so she needs to be an "only" with perhaps a fenced yard so she can enjoy herself on a lovely summer day. As part of Emily's adoption package, GREAT would like to help Emily overcome her concern with other pets so we are offering an evaluation and two home training visits with our Animal Behaiorist, all funded by GREAT. If you are interested in adopting her, please go to our website at www.greatrescue.org to complete/submit an application or call 904-501-6899 for additional information. Emily is available for IMMEDIATE Adoption.
