CASTLE's Story...
Just arrived! A litter of nine adorable puppies, four males and four females. The puppies were born locally and the mom is the family dog. The family can barely afford to take care of the mom and were unable to take care of nine additional puppies. The mom's breed is described as "very hard to pinpoint" and that she is the very definition of "mixed breed". The puppies are all 100% adorable. The puppies were surrendered to our rescue. Here is one of the very handsome males that we named Castle. Well, we have a female named Beckett so what would Beckett be without her Castle. And Castle really is "ruggedly handsome" like he says on his TV show. Castle is tan and has more of a shepherd look about him. He has been started on his vaccines, will be neutered in the next two weeks, and is receiving all of his monthly preventatives for heart worms, fleas/ticks, and parasites. He weighs approx 15 - 20 lbs and is 8 weeks old. Of all the puppies, he seems to be the most "laid back" in nature and personality, although he is a typical playful puppy. During his first photo session, he decided that being the perfect model seemed like a lot of work so a nap was a better option. He just laid down in the grass, opted for tummy rubs, and quietly fell asleep.

Castle will be available for adoption after May 11 when he will receive his last vaccination.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CASTLE, a Glastonbury Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Glastonbury, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Glastonbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glastonbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glastonbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glastonbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
