My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for a dog who makes you smile when you look at him? One who no matter what has happened with your day, he is still just happy to see you? A dog who has been rejected by an owner in one of the worst ways ever and still is just as gentle spirited and good natured as he can be? Well, your search is over. You have found him. Here is the most happiest fellow, CLINE. CLINE is a male, Lab/Hound mix. He is approximately 12 - 16 months old and currently weighs 34 lbs. (which is a little thin for his body) He won't increase any in size, but his body weight could use another 5 - 8 lbs. Cline has been started on vaccines, has been neutered, and is testing heart worm negative. We have him on all monthly preventatives. When he arrived, he was picked up by employees at a business who had been passing this recliner chair that had been dumped out on the side of the road and they had spotted Cline using the chair as a makeshift dog house hence the name "CLINE" (reCLINEr). After seeing him sleeping inside the overturned recliner for several days in a row, one of the employees stopped and picked him up. He is so very friendly and he was so very happy to finally be somewhere other than the side of the road inside a recliner. He is great with all dogs and doesn't have a malicious bone in his body. He is cat friendly, kid friendly, and just seems happy all the time. His tail wags with gusto no matter what the circumstance. He currently has an abrasion the size of an orange on his left hip. The wound may have been the result of hitting the pavement along with the chair when it was thrown out. The wound is healing nicely although will take a little time for it to completely scab over. He could possibly have a bare spot there once it heals completely. But this has not dampened his spirits in the least. So if you want a happy dog, a faithful companion, and one that provides unconditional love, look no more. Here he is.
