COOKIE's Story...
This very happy girl is COOKIE. She just arrived as a surrendered dog, but even though her family gave her up, it has not dampened her spirits in the least. She seems happy all the time and is just ready for walks, so glad to see you. Her tail wags with gusto whenever you even mention her name. She is so very dog friendly, she is kid friendly and couldn't care less about the family cat. She is a medium size dog, young and frisky, and would be the best family dog ever.

COOKIE has been started on her vaccination and will be spayed within the next 2 weeks. She is approx 8 - 12 months old and is testing heart worm negative. We have her on all of her monthly preventatives. She is great walking on her leash and is always ready to give you kisses when you pet her. She is a great size at approx 35 lbs and we don't expect her to get too much larger. Cookie would complete all her vetting requirements by the end of April and be ready to travel the first week in May.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

COOKIE, a Glastonbury Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Glastonbury, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Glastonbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glastonbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glastonbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glastonbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
