DANICA's Story...
Not all gorgeous brunettes named Danica are Nascar drivers. Our beautiful brunette named Danica races to the food bowl with her eight other siblings. She shifts into high gear much of the day as she plays with her buddies and finally heads to the garage at the end of the day to let the engine cool. She is racing for the checkered flag hoping to be the winner of your heart and the "Lucky Dog".
Danica is one of four females in this litter of puppies and only one of two that are sleek black in color. She has two patches of white on her chest. The puppies are approx 8 weeks old and represent a mixed breed. Danica appears to be a Labrador/shepherd mix with shorter, stubbier legs. She weighs approx 15 - 20 lbs. We have started her on all her vaccinations. She is getting spayed in two weeks, and is receiving all of her monthly preventatives for heart worms, fleas/ticks, and parasites. She will receive her last vaccination on May 11 and would be ready to head to her new home the following week.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

DANICA, a Glastonbury Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Glastonbury, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Glastonbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glastonbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glastonbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glastonbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
