My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you have ever been to New Orleans, then you probably had the pleasure of eating one of the local delicacies called Gumbo. Gumbo is a very flavorful combination of a soup and a stew with lots of seasonings and seafood thrown in. Gumbo is a treat that you would not want to miss and the same is true for our handsome guy, Gumbo. He was not the most photogenic of the puppies in his group, but oh! he was one of the most affectionate. He is a darker tan overall and just has these cute little legs and this adorable expression on his face. He was happier playing with his 8 other siblings from a litter that was surrendered to our rescue. The mom of the puppies is described as a true "mix" and the breed is "hard to pinpoint." That mix seems to be expressed differently in each one of the puppies. Gumbo appears to have some Labrador/shepherd mix in him. He is approx 8 weeks old and weighs 20 lbs. He has been started on all his vaccinations and will be neutered in two weeks. He is receiving all monthly preventatives for heart worms, fleas/ticks, and parasites. Gumbo will receive his last vaccination on May 11 and would be ready to travel to his new home at that time.
