Ivy's Story...
Ivy is a tiny little girl with a BIG heart! Even though just about everything in this world is quite a bit bigger then her, Ivy is not bothered at all. She is a very easy going gal. She enjoys dogs small and large. She is happy to go on walks to catch up on all the new neighborhood gossip! She likes playing with toys, other dogs or just hanging out in your arms. In addition to Ivy's great leash manners she also rides very well in the car. As you can see, Ivy is a very well rounded little gal!

Ivy is looking for a family of her very own. She has so much to offer and is eager to share that with her loved ones. She would like a home with daily walks. Since she is a mere 4.5 pounds she doesn't need long walks, but 10-15 minutes walks each day would be great. A toy box with some cool toys would be on Ivy's wish list too. One thing that is an absolute must for Ivy is lots of daily snuggle time. Ivy absolutely loves to be in your lap or in your arms - it's her favorite activity for sure!

So if you have what our teeny little gal is looking for, please complete an application for our little sweetheart today. She is eager to hear from you and to start the next chapter in her life! To learn more -

Ivy weighed 4.5 pounds when we saved her from the kill list.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ivy, a Phoenix Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
