Fred's Story...
Fred is a 1½-year-old Pointer/Hound mix who might have some Great Dane in him, too. It’s hard to guess, but he’s very cute with his one black ear and one freckled ear! He is very energetic and would be best in an active home. Fred is housetrained. He is friendly and playful with everyone, including other dogs. Fred knows “sit”, “paw”, “down”, “stay”, and “come”, and walks nicely on leash.

Fred is a Goofball, a fun-loving dog who thinks everything is interesting, including you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fred, a Eatontown Pointer/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Eatontown, or seeking a Pointer/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Eatontown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Eatontown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Eatontown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Pointer/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Eatontown paves the way for another one to be saved.
