My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you looked up adorable in the dictionary, I am sure you would find Laurena’s picture! She is a happy-go-lucky girl with a fun personality to match and loves to play. She is not shy about asking for a belly rub and considers everyone her friend. Laurena did well in cat testing, but has never lived with a cat. Use a muzzle initially and closely monitor all interactions. When unable to monitor the interaction, some form of physical barrier should be used such as crating. Laurena enjoys the company of other greyhounds and has also responded well when meeting Jack Russell Terriers, but cautioned should always be exercised, especially outdoors. To sum it up, Laurena is going to make a perfect addition into her forever family’s home and heart.

FOSTER HOME UPDATE:
Laurena is a fun loving little girl who lives for affection and belly rubs. She loves people, but can be a little shy at first when first meeting new humans. She is a dainty eater, and loves squeaky toys! Anything that makes noise is fair game, except for the cat, whom she has learned is completely off limits. She is a smarty pants too - stays out of the kitchen like asked, has had no accidents in the house and stands patiently for her teeth to be brushed. She enjoys going on walks, and walks on a loose lead. She is such a love - and will make some household VERY happy!

Our policy is to reserve the cat-trainable dogs for those homes that truly require them. If you have no small animals, you will need to adopt a dog that is not deemed small animal trainable.
