Jayda's Story...
Jayda is a beautiful German Shepherd who was surrendered with another German Shepherd (Blaze). She loves to play and is good with kids (No cats, please). She understands basic commands such as sit, come, stay, and lie down. Going for walks is a fun thing to do and she makes it even better by not pulling on the leash! She has been vet checked and weighs 71 pounds. Stop out to the Humane Society any day between 4-6 pm and meet this wonderful dog. She'll be waiting to play a game of soccer with you! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jayda, a Geneseo German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Geneseo, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Geneseo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Geneseo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Geneseo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Geneseo paves the way for another one to be saved.
