Logan's Story...
Logan, was found roaming the dangerous streets and was taken to the shelter (the proper thing to do) but no one came for him. He is now in foster care and learning that not all humans will leave you alone. Just a small boy at 5 pounds, est. at 2 to 3 years old, a beautiful long hair coat that he doesn’t mind you brushing, he would be the perfect pet for a family with older children or the single person who wants a best friend. He gets along well with the other dogs and is starting to play again. If you would like to meet Logan please send in your completed application from our web site www.RescueAChi.com and we will give you a call to set up a meet and greet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Logan, a San Diego Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
