I am a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Tiny's Story...
Tiny came into our rescue after his owners could not get him vet care. He was suffering from demodectic mange, (which is not contagious to pets or people), but harmful to the dog because it was left untreated. His hair has all regrown and he is doing well. Please don't let his name fool you, he came with it and we decided it would be up to his new family whether it stays. His size is a tiny beagle/ large chihuahua. Tiny is loveable & loves to cuddle. He has done well around our dogs and cat but he does not like them and some people around his food, though he is getting better with this. He can be timid and does best with older children. We were told he has bit a small child. Anyone interested should be willing to continue to work with him or enroll him in behavior classes. Tiny is being potty trained and soon will be neutered. If interested in adopting him we can send you an application by e-mail.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiny, a Marion Beagle/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Chihuahua for sale in Marion, or seeking a Beagle/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Marion.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marion already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marion breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Chihuahua breeders who help with Beagle/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marion paves the way for another one to be saved.
