Rosie's Story...
Rosie is a little Diva that is 3-4 months old. . She comes with her own collection of clothes but good luck getting her to sit still so you can put one on her. Her favorite is her sundress she was photographed in. How do I know this? She told me. Rosie needs to be an only dog. She is very sweet with adults but is not afraid to take on even the biggest of dogs. We don’t know how Rosie would do with children so we would request she only go to a home with older children. Rosie likes to play but she also loves to snuggle when she tires out. Refer back to the difficulty getting her to sit still. If you are interested in Rosie please email her at rosie@sparkyrescue.com or call 270-684-4787.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosie, a Owensboro Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Owensboro, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Owensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Owensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Owensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Owensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
