Gus's Info...

I am already neutered, not good with kids, and good with cats.

Gus's Story...
This beautiful boy is Gus, a sweet-tempered darling who has been with us since last December. He was rescued from an awful situation with fifteen other cats, and is still learning to trust people. Gus likes to be pet, and is becoming more comfortable with attention every day. He is good with other cats and is often seen snuggling the day away with his friends. Gus is about 1-3 years old, and due to his poor diet growing up has some dental issues that will need to fixed in the future. We think he would do well in a quiet home with a patient family who can show him what it's like to be loved and cared for as he so deserves.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gus, a Colville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Colville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colville paves the way for another one to be saved.
