GiGi's Story...
Hello World,
My name is GiGi and I’m a darling and petite little bichon girl of about three or four. My foster Mom says I'm a pretty little ‘package’ who weighs only 12 pounds. She says that good things come in small packages and I’m a really good thing. (Silly Mom! I’m not a thing or a package - I’m a FurKid!)
Dad says that I’m adorable, playful (we’ll get to that in a minute), happy-go-lucky and very well mannered. I love to sit in your lab and cuddle -- and to also be wherever you are. I’m so good natured that I take everything in stride so nothing ruffles me. That’s a winning combination.

Now when it comes to being playful, well I have never met a toy I didn’t like – and believe that if you throw a toy, you want me to go after it. Of course that’s exactly what I do. And if you keep throwing it I will keep chasing it and, well, you get the idea!
While there is no doubt that I’m cute, I’m also amazingly sweet -- and well socialized. I love my doggy foster brothers and I love people! I’m a confident little girl who knows how to ask for what I want and get it! Mom says that I truly believe a hand that is not petting me is a wasted hand. (She says I’m very convincing, too!)
Mom and Dad agree I’m a beautiful little girl who has it all. I am housebroken (and mastered the doggy door in minutes), love my walks and rides in the car. I also love snuggling and cuddling in the big people’s bed.
Dad says there is no doubt that I’m also very good at stealing hearts. (I told him I’m a good girl and I would never steal anything! And Mom says that I am a treasure and that everyone wants a GiGi! She says that only the most special family will be right for me!
Do you have room in your family for a tiny, sweet girl who wants to give loves and cuddle? Do you have at least one other little FurKid for me to play with? Then please complete an application and ask for GiGi. I’ll be waiting to meet you.
Tail wags,
Gorgeous and Girlish GiGi

Why Adoption is a Great Option

GiGi, a La Costa Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise for sale in La Costa, or seeking a Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in La Costa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in La Costa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a La Costa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise breeders who help with Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in La Costa paves the way for another one to be saved.
