Austin's Story...
Austin is a cute wiggle butt who loves to play and give out kisses! He loves fun and adventure but mostly loves to be with his people. Belly scratch, go for a walk or watch a movie together, count him in! Austin is about 2-3 yrs old and great with other dogs, kids over 6 yrs and loves everyone he meets. Weighing in at about 40lbs he is a bit larger than an average cocker. Austin is in need of a foster home while he is looking for his forever home. Can you help?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Austin, a Santa Barbara Cocker Spaniel/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel/Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Santa Barbara, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Santa Barbara.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Barbara already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Barbara breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel/Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel/Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Barbara paves the way for another one to be saved.
