Mr. Pace's Story...
Introducing Mr. Pace...the sweetest soul. This gentle 7 yr old boy is a best guess Boxer/Heeler mix? He's a little shy with new people, but once he warms up he's a huge cuddle bug and bed warmer, without being a bed hog. He is an easy going guy who loves his walks, snoozing away the day and romping in the back yard when the sun is out. Don’t let his age fool you. He has a spring in his step. He is able to be left uncrated at home alone. Needs an intro to other dogs slowly through crate rotation. He is a person protector, guarder and herder so be ready for him to own you! An active home would suit this boy as long as there are naps involved! No to cats and not sure about youngsters.

$175 adoption fee applies. All of our adoptions start with a 30-day trial and if it's not a good fit during that time, 75% of the adoption fee is refunded.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mr. Pace, a Seahurst Boxer/Blue Heeler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Blue Heeler for sale in Seahurst, or seeking a Boxer/Blue Heeler dog from a breeder in Seahurst.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seahurst already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seahurst breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Blue Heeler breeders who help with Boxer/Blue Heeler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seahurst paves the way for another one to be saved.
