Mr. Lilo's Story...
Mr. Lilo is a beautiful lab mix that lives with 3 cats & enjoys the company of other dogs. We think he may have some border collie in him because he is the kind of guy that does best when he has a job to focus on. He would do great at agility & would love to be someones jogging partner. Lilo does have fear issues and needs a calm and assertive home that will help him get rid of his fear. He has been owned by the same people his whole life, but since Mr. Lilo has fear issues & they are starting a family Lilo needs to find a new home. He is good in the car & on leash, as well as listening to basic commands. Lilo doesn't have any health issues & is ready to go home. Courtesy posted for the Larsons.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mr. Lilo, a Seahurst Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie for sale in Seahurst, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Seahurst.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seahurst already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seahurst breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seahurst paves the way for another one to be saved.
