Charlie the Chug's Story...
Charlie is a 10yr old "chug" pug chihuahua mix who is looking for someone to snuggle with! He is great with dogs, cats, kids and all people. He would love a home where he can snuggle on the couch and in bed with his people. He also loves to go for walks and car rides. This boy is as well mannered as they come - he is potty trained and can be left at home unattended. He will also alert you of any visitors (especially the mailman!). Charlie is healthy, but has had seizures about 3-4 times a year. He is not currently on any medication but will need to be monitored as he gets older. If you want a friendly and loyal cuddle buddy, Charlie is your guy!

$175 adoption fee applies. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. Our adoptions start with a 30-day trial period and if it's not a good fit during that time, we'll refund 75% of the adoption fee.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie the Chug, a Seahurst Pug/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Chihuahua for sale in Seahurst, or seeking a Pug/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Seahurst.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seahurst already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seahurst breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Chihuahua breeders who help with Pug/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seahurst paves the way for another one to be saved.
