Elvira
1-2 yo Blue British Shorthair

We hate to admit it, but we all call Elvira "Bulldog". How can we help it? She's so ugly she's cute. She has a very serious under bite and looks like a little vampire bat. She won't bite you .. she might just love you to death, though. Despite the funny jaw, little Bulldog has no problems eating. This is a very endearing cat.

Elvira came to us from a very bad situation where about 100 cats were all living in the same small house. Eeewww. That was one smelly place. The great thing is, it hasn't seemed to affect her at all.

She's a happy healthy girl who just wants to spend some time loving on her people. She can be occasionally territorial. She seems to do better with male cats than with females. She and Gregor will sleep together and she'll groom him and lick his face. We're not sure, but we think she is either his mother or his sister.

Other than that under bite, she's got it goin' on for a British Shorthair. She's got lovely round, copper eyes, beautiful thick coat, and a nice stocky build expected in the breed. Give a cat a chance, OK? Maybe you're the mother in the saying "A face only a mother could love".
Thanks to a generous grant, her adoption fee has been reduced to $125.
