Scarlett's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Scarlett's Story...
Have you met Scarlett? She is a young gal; completely vetted but did test HW+; however, Lucy's is offering to provide the first year of heartworm prevention. A Dallas vet told us it may take 2-3 years but given monthly prevention, like should be given to ALL pets, they will eventually die out.
Scarlett is an abosolute joy to be around! She weighs about 12 lbs, long legs, beautiful, loving eyes. Knows how to use a doggie door or will use potty pads indoors.
Scarlett loves to play but we do not know how she would get along with small children or cats. If you'd like to meet this beauty, give her foster mom a call. 817-714-0990

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scarlett, a Fort Worth Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Fort Worth, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Fort Worth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Worth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Worth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Worth paves the way for another one to be saved.
