Snuggles's Story...
Snuggles is the cuteness factor!
Snuggles is a 5 month old labradoodle puppy that originally came from a kill shelter after a family purchased him and found out they were allergic. We adopted snuggles out at 8 weeks old and recently got him back. The family called us to tell us that Snuggles is aggressive. After talking with them, we learned that they were using dominance and negative reinforcement. A big no-no in the positive reinforcement world (which we are a part of). We are working with Snuggles to rebuild his confidence as he is a fearful dog. He is going to need continued training and will leave us with a training contract.
Snuggles is neutered, UTD on shots, HW neg, and chipped. Snuggles will not only come with all of his vet work, but an in-home consultation (must be scheduled prior to adoption) to continue his work. Snuggles needs an EXPERIENCED home. Preferably with another confident dog and no small children. His adoption fee is $300.
If interested and meet the requirements, please fill out an application at LOCAL APPLICATIONS ONLY.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Snuggles, a Lancaster Labradoodle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labradoodle for sale in Lancaster, or seeking a Labradoodle puppy from a breeder in Lancaster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lancaster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lancaster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labradoodle breeders who help with Labradoodle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lancaster paves the way for another one to be saved.
