I am already spayed, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Tiger's Story...
My name is Tiger and I am sure you have noticed by now that I am BEAUTIFUL! We aren’t really sure what my pedigree is....possibly some Shepherd and Greyhound. I’m about two years old and a svelte 40-some pounds (a lady never reveals her true age and weight). Whatever I am, you will love my soft and shiny coat! I have been in foster care for many months now and my foster mom promises we will find me a really great home! Could it be yours? I have proven to be very healthy and 110% house trained and kennel trained and LOVE to play in the snow and sprint in the yard and then come in an find a nice lap to crawl into! That is why it is very important that my new home have a fenced back yard so that I have plenty of room to frolic and chase balls and look at the birds and squirrels and rabbits! I probably would do best in a home with no kids and with parents who have experience with feisty dogs like me! I really get protective of “my family” and it is probably not good for me to have a lot of new people around without being properly introduced to me. Once I have gotten to know your friends, then all is ok. Oh, and I would love a doggy buddy to hang out with as long as my new friend is kind of laid back. I do play well with my doggy friends if we are properly introduced! My foster mom says I'm just about perfect, but you know, I'm still a "work in progress" Come and met me, I know you will find me irresistible!

About Adopt Me! Dog Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Adopt Me! Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3), non-profit, foster based organization committed to the rescue, rehabilitation and permanent placement of displaced dogs. We are committed to working to educate the public through community outreach programs. Adopt Me! is dedicated to ensuring a bright future for dogs in need regardless of age, breed or (dis)abilities.

Our Adoption Process...

When you have selected the dog(s) you know that you are interested in, the first step is to fill out the adoption application. Once we receive your application an volunteer will be in touch with you within 48 hours.

The second step is for a volunteer to conduct a home visit. A home visit helps us get to know you and your situation better. At the home visit our volunteer will talk to you more about the dog and the adoption, help you see the areas in your home that may need to be addressed to keep you pet safe and contained, and will answer any questions that you may have. The volunteer will bring the dog along to the home visit. This allows us to see how the dog interacts in your home and it also gives you a chance to spend some time with the dog you are interested in and see if this is really who you want to be a new addition to your family.

If all goes well and your home and the dog are a good match, then your application will be approved. Upon approval, the third step is to sign the adoption contract.

Once the adoption is complete, Adopt Me! Dog Rescue will stay in contact with the adoptive home. We conduct follow ups and stay in contact to help with questions, training, and to help our adoptive homes in any way that we can. By this time we’ve not only found an excellent home for our dog but made a new dog loving friend as well. At Adopt Me! Dog Rescue we take our adoptions personally and work to ensure an open and honest relationship with our adopters.
