Peanut's Story...
Meet sweet little Miss Peanut, Peanut is a 6 week old purebred chihuahua puppy who was turned into us by a breeder because she didn't have the time or money to care for her and her siblings properly. Peanut is just a beautiful pup with her tan color highlighted by bright white paws and legs. She is the little diva of the group and already knows that she is a princess. She has had one set of puppy vaccinations and will not be ready for adoption until she has had her second set (she has also had dewormer). She weighs approximately 1.5lbs and will be a small dog as an adult. We think Pecan and her siblings will be very popular so we are now taking applications for them.

Peanut will come with a mandatory spay/neuter contract which states that she will be spayed/neutered at 6 months of age (no exceptions) and that we will be provided with proof it was completed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peanut, a Hazard Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Hazard, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Hazard.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hazard already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hazard breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hazard paves the way for another one to be saved.
