Fluffernutter's Story...
6 week old Fluffernutter loves at least two things- playing and then dissolving into a puddle of fluff on your lap. Once you meet her, you'll know why there was no other name for her than Fluffernutter! She has beautiful long hair with black spots. Her mom Cinderella was found hanging around a Bed-Stuy apartment building in the cold, at first too frightened to even approach the hand that fed her. She was thin and dirty, was pregnant and had apparently been abandoned. Luck came her way when she was taken in by a good samaritan just in time to give birth to 5 kittens! Fluffernutter will need to go to a home with one of her siblings or to a home with another cat. Kittens at this age get very lonely and need company to be able to snuggle, learn and play together.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fluffernutter, a Brooklyn Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
