Princess's Story...
Princess is a lovely Bernese mix born in July 2012 who had a bit of a rough start in life, but she is loving life now at her foster home and will make an awesome family dog. Currently weighing in at around 50 pounds, she may fill out a bit more but is not likely to get a whole lot bigger. Princess has a lovely temperament and gets along very well with other dogs. She loves to play fetch, get belly rubs and enjoys being around her people. Princess was surrendered to Kiko along with her brother, who has already been adopted and is also proving to be an exceptional dog. Princess is very well behaved in the house and is learning new things every day. If your family has been looking for a gentle family dog, here she is!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Princess, a Rigaud Bernese Mountain Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bernese Mountain Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Rigaud, or seeking a Bernese Mountain Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Rigaud.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rigaud already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rigaud breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bernese Mountain Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Bernese Mountain Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rigaud paves the way for another one to be saved.
