My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***COURTESY POSTING***
At first glance Sadie is just like all great dogs: Sweet, gentle and smart! Then you might notice something different about her that you hadn’t noticed before. Sadie is maneuvering beautifully on three legs! Sadie was picked up as a stray in a rural TN setting and taken to a Veterinary Hospital by a volunteer that noticed she was not using her front leg. The veterinarian decided that Sadie’s leg was not functional and thus it was removed. She never missed a beat and can run like the wind! What she is missing, she makes up for with LOVE! Sadie loves to snuggle and curl up next to her humans. She enjoys the outside and gets along great with indoor cats. She is completely house trained and sleeps in her crate at night. She is the ultimate companion and her “people” skills are impeccable. Sadie is eager to please and very intelligent. Within 10 seconds of meeting her, she has decided to give you kisses and roll over on her back for a belly rub. She is active and loves her daily walks. She loves all humans but sometimes acts hateful with other dogs while going for her walks which may be the result of her past with being handicapped and inhibited to get away with an injured leg. You will immediately fall in love with her and she with you! She’s just that good! If you are interested, please contact her rescue directly at storkwoods@comcast.net.
