Who can resist this face? Biscuit is such an adorable heeler mix puppy that needs a fabulous forever home. At such a young age of almost 6 months old, he already knows a few tricks! We think he’s the head of his class! Not only is he super intelligent, he also has the most unusual markings and of course, you have to love those ears! Biscuit is a delightful, playful and eager to please puppy. He responds well to corrections and wants nothing more than to become your best friend, or anyone or everyone’s best friend. If he was in high school, he would win the “friendliness” award for sure. His owner and family moved from California to an apartment and when he got to TN, the landlord changed his mind and said Biscuit was going to be too big. Since he was only hours from being served an eviction notice, he contacted a volunteer who interceded so Biscuit would not end up at the local high kill shelter. The owner kept remarking on what a special and unique dog Biscuit was and others have noticed it as well. Biscuit is one of a kind: The kind you want to be part of your family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Biscuit, a Albany Australian Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Albany, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Albany.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Albany already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Albany breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Albany paves the way for another one to be saved.
