Billy Beagle is a sweet boy who loves people, kids and other dogs. He will sit nicely for a treat and is pretty good at catching food in mid-air. He's 100-percent potty trained and will whine a little if he needs to go out. Otherwise, he's surprisingly quiet for a Beagle. We think Billy might be around 8 years old, but don't let that little bit of white on his face fool you. He loves going on walks and will come home from a walk and romp around the house, playing with his canine foster sister. Billy's foster mom never worries that he'll get into something he shouldn't or make a mess in the house.

If he sounds like the right dog for your family, contact his foster mom today to find out where you can meet Billy Beagle!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Billy Beagle, a Overland Park Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
